QUOC have been some of the first to treat cycling shoes as fashion but also pushed performance especially off-road. 2025 is another step forward.
Maybe lets start the "be aware I am sponsored by this brand" section in this article a bit different.
I have been working with QUOC Shoes since 2018. Wow, that's a long time! The original Gran Tourer was a game changer for me. Comfortable, great to walk in, no numb feet, stiff enough to deliver performance.
At the time I was lucky enough to be modelling for a new road shoe. The original MONO high performance road model.
It came with a lot of ideas but also some flaws. Same as the Gran Tourer. I shared my feedback, I destroyed multiple variations of those shoes in Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Namibia, Italy,... Well, you name it: All over the world!
I delivered my feedback and gave my thoughts. Shared pictures and details about things I'd love to see, certain failures, possible improvements, even ideas for new products. Some seem to still be stuck in a drawer, a lot of others have actually been taken on!
I love this process. Small brands are generally great to work with and looking back I can't even believe how much better cycling shoes have become since only 7/8 years back!
Shoes are one of those products that are extremely underrated! Most people spend thousands of Euros for their Bike, hundreds for their Kit, but your contact points with the bike are often mistreated.
Your hands, your bum and your feet are the only contact points with that luxurious steed you are riding. The key to making your ride pleasant and enjoyable.
Maybe handlebar width and shape is a topic for another article, I already covered my long and expensive journey with saddles, arriving at the Posedla Joyseat. And yes, if you follow me since some time you know I ride exclusively Quoc shoes.
It's not because I have a contract with them that makes me rich. It's because I love the shoes. They look great and like the premium product they are. They are comfortable, performance oriented, fit my particular shaped feet and over the years they have become extremely durable. A package that would be hard to trade.
The 2025 shoes have some exciting updates and even new models. Here we go!
The MAAP X Quoc collab is brillant
Brand collabs are all over the place right now and if done right they are some of the smartest marketing ever. Two premium brands, connecting their audience and creating a bond and an image together.

The Gran Tourer shoes are getting new colourways!
The Gran Tourer are at the core of what I do. Off-road cycling.
I have been wearing the Gran Tourer since its first iteration. The GT XC is the model I wear most, but the GT II is still a regular shoe depending on what I plan to ride.
The 2025 collection is inspired by changing seasons and how nature and our landscapes change with the climates through the year. The collection juxtaposes lighter colourways and accents inspired by spring blossoming flowers and summer golden hours, with darker, muted colourways reflecting muddy autumnal terrain and winter’s dusky nights.
The Gran Tourer XC comes in two colors:
- Gran Tourer XC - Moss
- Gran Tourer XC - Chalk
Price will be €275.
The Gran Tourer II comes in a new Stone colorway and will come at a price of €255.
The M3 road shoe range adds new models
This year Quoc is diversifying their range of M3 road performance shoes.
Developed in direct collaboration with legendary World Tour Athlete and former Tour de France Winner Geraint Thomas comes the new M3 Pro.
The M3 Pro is precision-tuned to eliminate inefficiency, delivering peak power, stability, and speed.
What stays is the full carbon sole and double dial closure system. Apart from that the shoe is completely overhauled and also has a new ribbed TPU upper.
Here's the details:
- Weight: 246g (EU42)
- Size range: EU38-47 (Whole sizes)
- Sole: 100% Handlaid, unidirectional carbon fibre
- Upper: TPU Laminated Mesh
- Gloss border for scuff resistance and easy cleaning
- Dual-dial wrap closure with parallel lace guides
- Heel Cup sculpted for maximum hold and comfort
- Vibration-dampening insole with anatomic pressure relief
- Cleat Compatibility: 3-bolt (Shimano, Look, Speedplay)
Buying an M3 Pro shoe will set you back €380.
The M3 Sport
Should your budget be a bit smaller you can still get a high performance shoe with a full carbon sole and the same clean and elegant look for a good €120 less with the M3 Sport.
Built on the race-grade legacy of the M3 range, this shoe delivers optimal power transfer while maintaining a plush, leather-like PU upper for immediate comfort—no break-in required. It features a dual-dial closure system as well.
Here are the details:
- Weight: 246g (EU42)
- Size range: EU38-47 (Whole sizes)
- Sole: 100% Handlaid, unidirectional carbon fibre
- Upper: Premium PU
- Padded wrap tongue for comfort
- Dual-dial closure with parallel lace guides
- Heel Cup sculpted for maximum hold and comfort
- Vibration-dampening insole with anatomic pressure relief
- Cleat Compatibility: 3-bolt (Shimano, Look, Speedplay)
The shoe will cost €260 and offers a still premium priced but a bit more affordable product. Unless you are looking for the last aero gains and some hidden seems etc. this might be your model for the coming season!
All in all QUOC delivers another solid line up sticking to its core audience. Performance oriented cyclists in a premium segment that don't accept compromises on style vs. performance.
I might add some thoughts once I had the chance to properly test the new shoes to this short dispatch.
I am particularly interested if the TPU sole of the GT XC has become a bit softer for more grip.
What do you think? Will you buy some of the new Quoc Shoes? Do you already own some?
What should the brand do next? Questions over questions.
