The video has been produced by Posedla and was financially supported by Cervélo, Reserve Wheels, Coros, BBB Cycling, Quoc Shoes and 7mesh.

3× Mount Everest.
26,553 meters of climbing.
37 hours on the bike.
All on my home climb: Gaisberg.

The idea was simple: ride up and down the same climb until the elevation equals three Everests. Nothing fancy—just relentless climbing. The perfect road: steep enough, little traffic, a safe turnaround, and easy for friends and followers to jump in for a lap.
This project was never really about a record. Sure, I wanted to set the fastest time for Triple Everesting—but honestly, it started as a marketing idea for my incredibly light Cervélo R5 climbing bike and the parts that make it the fastest climbing setup I’ve ever ridden.

Ironically, I even made the bike a bit heavier: my beloved Posedla Joyseat, a Coros DURA (a computer is kind of necessary), MAXXIS High Road SL tires, and a few other details. Still, for this kind of effort, it was the best setup I could have asked for.

What I could never have imagined was the response.

Hundreds of messages. People following the ride live. Friends and followers showing up on the climb to ride a lap—or ten. Huge kudos to Kevin, who came twice and rode more than 10 laps with me.
Afterwards I was honestly overwhelmed by how many people connected with what was essentially a very long (and very painful) endurance ride. Media outlets in five different languages reported on it, and I suddenly found myself invited to podcasts everywhere.
I’m starting to think I might be “the Everesting guy” for the rest of my life.

Posedla even sent a film crew to document the whole thing. I’m incredibly proud of what we created here. Huge thanks to all partners—and especially Posedla for trusting in my stupid ideas.
I hope you enjoy the film. I can’t wait to read your feedback.

On to the next stupid project.
