Dinaric Mountains
The Dinaric Mountains or Dinaric Alps, also Dinarides, are a mountain range in Southern and Southcentral Europe, separating the continental Balkan Peninsula from the Adriatic Sea. They stretch from Italy in the northwest through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo[a] to Albania in the southeast.
The vast karst landscapes, large forrests, seasonal lakes and even the Adriatic Sea make this a unique destination for cycling and bikepacking adventures. With the Lynx Trail Bikepacking Route we started a new kind of bikepacking tour where you can learn and adventure an area and its Flora and Fauna in a fun way. The people in Slovenia and Croatia will give you a warm welcome.
