LOOSE AT THE COAST

Join us for a new twist on the Loose adventure series

This time we’re heading south, toward the Adriatic. Loose at the Coast is our inaugural coastal edition — a bikepacking weekend starting and finishing in Koper, where Mediterranean landscapes meet the rugged Karst.

Expect a mix of gravel roads, forest tracks, rocky sections, and wide-open views. The route is fully rideable, but wider tyres are strongly recommended (and a mountain bike won’t feel out of place).

This is not a race — it’s about steady riding, shared adventure, and enjoying the scenery together.

Schedule Overview

Friday, April 10
Optional afternoon shakeout ride (~65 km / ~650 m) to stretch the legs, meet fellow riders, and ease into the weekend (accommodation not included)

Saturday, April 11
The official start of the ride. A full day of riding into Karst terrain, finishing with an overnight stay at Hostel Pliskovica
(~85 km / ~1500 m)

Sunday, April 12
After breakfast, we head back toward the coast via a different mix of quiet roads and rougher tracks, returning to Koper
(~85 km / ~1300 m)

Registration & Spots

Registration includes:

To help keep the event balanced and welcoming, 50% of places are reserved for women.
