4 loops of about 20–40 km – not a race, no stress, lots of cake – ride as many loops as you feel like.
Ride Description
The Cakeride consists of four gravel loops that always bring you back to the coach house, which is stocked with snacks. That means you don’t need to worry about food while you’re out riding. We still definitely recommend an ice cream stop at the little farm shop though.
The loops are between 25 and 40 kilometres long. It’s up to you how many loops you ride and in which order. This lets you shape your day however you like. Whether it’s one loop for a total of 50 km or all of them for a punchy 160 km and 3,500 metres of climbing – there’s something for everyone.
Of course, you can and should decide spontaneously on the day which loops you ride and how many.
Thanks to this format you keep coming back to the coach house – which means lots of cake for you! It also creates a great balance between the faster and the more relaxed riders. Because while you’re eating cake, it doesn’t matter whether you’ve done just one loop or already three.
- The routes are not signposted (self-navigation via GPX track)
- Riding and taking breaks in groups is allowed and encouraged
- There are no support vehicles and no broom wagon. You are responsible for repairs during the ride yourself.
